About the Academy
No coding. No prior tech experience required.
EkoAI Academy is an initiative of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), delivered through Lagos Innovates in partnership with InnoPower. The Academy helps young people use artificial intelligence to build their careers and businesses, equipping 10,000 Lagosians aged 18 to 40 with practical AI skills - no coding, no prior tech experience required.
At the heart of the programme is prompt engineering - the practical skill of instructing AI tools in everyday language to get useful results for your work or business. It is one of the most in-demand ways to work with AI today, and you do not need any technical background to learn it.

How it works
A train-the-trainer model, so the reach multiplies.
EkoAI Academy runs on a train-the-trainer model. We certify 100 Certified Trainers, and each trainer then guides 100 learners through the programme - reaching 10,000 young people across Lagos, at no cost.
